Anna Dumicz, a Polish Artist, now living in Malta, is holding an Exhibition of her works at the CORINTHIA PALACE HOTEL, Attard, between the 16th May and 16th June 2008. H E President Emeritus Profs Guido Demarco, will officially open the Exhibition on the 16th May at 1930.
Anna studied painting at the I.Riepin Academy of Fine Arts in St Petersburg(1988-1990) and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw(1991-1996). During her studies at Warsaw Academy she also followed a course in philosophy for 4 years and history of art and civilization also for 4 years. Anna graduated in the Faculty of Arts with the diploma class in painting by Prof.Jan Tarasin and diploma class in sculpture guided by Prof.Gustaw Zemla(1996). After obtaining a grant from the Ministry of Culture and Art in Warsaw, she qualified as Master of Fine Arts. Anna was finalist in competition "2002 YEAR’s PAINTING "(Warsaw).

Portraits are her forte, and her grasp of the anatomy shows best in her nude forms. She is also exhibiting local and foreign landscapes and sketches. Anna exhibits extensively abroad and in Malta and Gozo.
