ANNA DUMICZ - a young, vibrant, Polish artist, unique in her style of painting. Specialising in nudes, both male and female, she sparks and excites the imagination of all those who treasure art for its life, originality and style.

The nude form for her is like something sacred and she always brings out the personality of the model. She does not paint purely for painting’s sake! Anna imbues life into her efforts and the finished work of art does not remain a picture to hang on a wall. But it becomes a reality to be infused into the enthusiast, be it on a wall in one’s home or in a gallery.

The proud owner of her works ends up by marrying the artistic soul that Anna infuses into her canvases. The composition of the anatomy that she creates inspires the admirer and gives that unique feeling of elation that every person is continually longing for in life and can achieve only in the wonder of art. One can easily become addicted to her expression and skill!

A work of art, be it a water-coloured landscape, a portrait in oils, or a sepie nude, has to be alive and shouting at you, either through colours, or the way the human form is portrayed and brought to life with its perfect anatomy. Anna Dumicz manages brilliantly to achieve all this through her ingenuity and mustering of the art of painting, drawing, and sculpting! And she does all this brilliantly, especially with her special knack of literally lighting up certain parts of the human form in her nudes!

Anna Dumicz is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, with graduate credentials in painting and sculpture. She also studied at St Petersburg’s Riepin Academy of Fine Arts, Russia. She has exhibited extensively in Poland, mainly at Warsaw; Kazimierz Dolny; and in Malta at Valletta; Hilton, Portomaso; ILGattopardo Gallery, Mdina; and in Gozo at il-Qbajjar.
